Kenny. Dec 24th, 2037 is the new Y2K. 32biit based web software can't deal with a date beyond that. In this case it's a web site thing not SONAR. It's gonna take a conversion to 64bit based web software to make the date like 96.4 Feb. 987623. Congrats on uncovering (for like the 9,365,782,527th time) a most serious bug.

Man, I STILL haven't pulled the trigger yet... My big purchase for me this month was that 32" 2k monitor (which it now says is delayed and will be available for pick up on next Wednesday instead of tomorrow - NOT happy about that! ). Sure, the monitor will be useful with SONAR, but it will be VERY useful for my job first (a Cyber Monday special at under $300 - haven't seen ANY comparable monitors under $450!). I still don't have anything to use for recording into the PC (actually, let's just say I don't have anything for making music at the moment - more accurate). So it's going to be some months unless a rich relative I don't know about kicks it and leaves me some play dough (as opposed to Play-Doh). Heck, I don't even have any room in my current living arrangement for gear! However, all of that said, you KNOW I'm going to be kicking my self later next year if I DON'T get the upgrade... Oh well, at least I can actually fret over the purchase now (like that gratuitous guitar reference? ) when earlier in the year I was simply hoping to earn enough to eat and have a roof over my head.
Time for all of you to head over to Beyond My DAW!

Mesh , I know that . I would never have thought that's what you meant Most of everything that I have recorded lately are only short learning projects anyway . I can certainly admit and say this publicly here and be totally OK w it . A few of them are real stinkers all the best , Kenny

Duke is one smart dog. Unless I get another chunk of cash before the end of the year (actually a good possibility since I'm supposed to get some "profit sharing" at the new company I'm with and I've received Christmas bonuses before from a client I still do work for), I'm going to pass on the lifetime commitment in favor of supporting a bunch of other artists instead. Translation: I'm blowing most of the SPlat money on new music - LOL! That "Best Albums of 2016" thread is killing me. Lots of good stuff there! I'm not complaining (and I made a camp fire with the cross ).

Hey Craig , I can certainly feel empathy for what you were saying in a couple of your posts ... I wasn't trying to put you down or put you on the defensive w the whole Cross thing ... It's basically a tough love type of slogan that I even have to use on myself sometimes With the exception of getting my guitar back as a gift , this year has been a tough one for me also ... You see even Kenny has to get off the cross jamesg1213 Nice one Kenny. Look forward to hearing some new stuff from Planet Tele-X in 2017 then.
Hi James , For some odd reason I've been more than a little shy about posting new music .... I suppose I'm just gonna have to accept that I'm gonna have to blast through these feelings and let the chips fall where they fall.... I honestly hope I can come up with something you will enjoy hearing . Thank you for being such good a forum friend all these years all the best , Kenny

I'm just trying to decide if it's worth buying SPlat now to secure the lifetime upgrades even though I won't be able to actually use it for virtually anything for months... Assuming one of my guitars gets returned, I'd still need an amp, mic & cab or amp-sim (more likely), a decent digital I/O card, probably a mic-pre and a mixer. All of that if I use my old, work computer for a DAW too... Of course, since I haven't played in a few years now, I should probably just have the guitar and a sim to relearn the basics! Callouses? Heck, my muscle memory has old-timers disease and doesn't remember squat! Kenny's WAY ahead of the game. He already has guitars, amps, talent and an American Bulldog. How does one compete with THAT???
