SONAR in more major top studios

many top studios have one thing in common? a mac computer. if sonar wants to get to the top of their
game, it also has to be mac compatible. like PT (mac based) became pc compatable sonar should be pc/mac.
what you guys think on that?

first post and going right for the throat?...welcome to the forum.
sonar is just as big as pro tools incase you didnt know..the protools your thinking about is the pro tools H.D...the one that cost about a million dollars more than these normal pro/home daws.sonar doesnt need to be mac comp.its the top 5 selling daw in the world..yet you think it needs to become mac comp to reach another level?

It does open up a whole new ( fairly large) group of customers.

It might even be a reason I would consider switching to a Mac......I hear they run a much more stable OS.

This subject has been covered already.  Cakewalk has admitted that they regret not having made their product multi-platform in the early stages of its development, but it now is too late to go back and start again.  Meanwhile, PCs are becoming more prevalent in the music industry, while the Mac's rule has been weakening.
