SONAR keeps CRASHING!

Okay, so in regards to the title- I'm actually using CW Music Creator 3. BUt I see that some problems can be fixed in similar ways, so here's my dilemma:

I just got a brand key keyboard- the Casio WK-6500. IT' real cool looks nice, etc. I had to abandon MIDI-to_USB in favor of standard USB for this. So, of course, the drivers installed right, I can use it in MC3 fine.
EXCEPT that every time right after I record something longer than about 1s, the DAW freezes up and crashes!

What the heck is the problem here? What am I doing wrong? I'm on ASIO drivers, might that have something to do with it?

    Update:
Aaaaaaand now it seems to just be crashing for the heck of it. I'll admit- I've only tried it with one project, and there's a coupla plugins therein that seem to crash a bit by default, but.. GEEZ!!!

EDIT: I guess it was just me. And those certain soft synths. Disregard this message!

which OS are you using?  MC3 was created long before win7

also the drivers for your soundcard (which if it's something in your signature, I don't recognize it) will have a lot to do with crashes on MC.

also, since you're using a USB mic, those are also considered another soundcard and could also be causing problems with MC since you're trying to use more than one soundcard at the same time.

    i7, 16G DDR3, Win10x64, MOTU Ultralite Hybrid MK3
Yamaha MOXF6, Hammond XK3c, other stuff.
