SONAR loses MIDI on startup, unless I delete TTSEQ.INI

Hi Folks,

When I startup Sonar, MIDI in and out simply don't work. If I delete TTSEQ.INI before I start Sonar, on start it asks me to select MIDI in and out. When I do this, it works again. I'd rather not have to follow this process every time I start the program.

Another issue - when Sonar is running, I cannot play audio in any other application.

I have a Presonus Audiobox USB as my combination audio + MIDI interface. Everything else works correctly.

I have posted this to Cakewalk support, but I haven't heard a word from them in a week.

Thanks,
Ben

Same here...whenever I'm going to use Sonar I have to delete TTSEQ.INI first and then enable my MIDI device in preferences. More of an annoyance than anything else.

Don't know anything about the TTSEQ issue.

The use of audio by other applications is controlled by this parameter:
Suspend Audio Engine When SONAR Is Not in Focus. This option allows other software to access device drivers. When this option is checked, other software can access device drivers when SONAR is not the focus of Windows.

You can find that in preferences under Audio/Playback and Recording. Good Luck!
