SONAR on a MAC is cool BUT what about SONAR X-CELL for ANDROID?

I don't have an Android but I would like to get a SONAR app for my IPAD. Something similar to Cubasis. It doesn't need to be a full version, just something I can take with me on a ride or pull out at the in-laws. I was using my laptop for this but the last time I was on a plane I couldn't even get the cover open because the seat in front was so close. I have uploaded midi files to SONAR from Garage Band but it is very limited. Something with some built-in compatibility would be sweet.

Yeah man limited but functional fun and productive compatibility would be so nice. "LOOP" browser with tempo sync basic editing tools...I've tried a few of the DAWS for android but it's like what's the point of there is no interoperability with my main SONAR RIG? ...a good idea. -S

This would be great to be able to listen to a track in your headphones from your ANDROID phone and also at the same time sing, talk or "rap" into your phone's mic and record lyrics or ideas on the go...very cool. -SLF

Seriously... not possible  a) Sonar is written in C++, to make it work for Android there are 2 ways: with dirty hacks run it as Linux program (so we are going to see Sonar for Linux first) or the whole code should be rewritten in Java (to keep thinks simple, it will be Java program on all platforms, owners of i7 will need a whole rack of computers to get the same performance) b) VST is C++ standard, so all plug-ins should be rewritten to support JVST4.0 c) I have tried to play with Sonar on 10'' tablet (it works, no problem!), but that was not fun... Finally, more and more tables are Intel based and dual-boot. My guess is that Windows 10 (normal desktop version) phones are in (short?) planing. MS almost cancelled Windows mobile, I do not believe they just leave mobile sector and the hardware is theoretically able to do this. Next generation can be "transformers": everything is in your phone, with a possibility to "dock" it into tablet for hand-held bigger screen or into 28'' monitor to get "desktop feeling". Speaking seriously, I would propose CW put some force to make Sonar small displays friendly. Or at least really controllable by touch.

Well, I think a moderately functional playing and recording of synchronus tracks from the phone mic while playing is quite possible in android and then maybe just a few nice VST's made just for the cell phone version of ANDROID that could be ALSO used inside the full PC version of SONAR...a portable usable fun editing rig that can go from phone to PC and back again. - SLF a good idea...
