SONARPDR.EXE crash / hang problem

Hi, While working on some simple projects in Sonar X1 using a couple of instances of Dimension Pro VST Plugin (64 bit) my app keeps freezing then I get an error message about SONARPDR.EXE not responding and I have to close the program - losing all unsaved work! My original installation was upgraded 8.5 to Sonar X1, then Expanded with patches up to X1c. But I got so frustrated with the constant crashes (every few minutes), that I wiped entire Win7 OS and did clean reinstall, downloaded all the latest bits from Cakewalk and re-installed Sonar X1 with patch X1d - yet still get same problem! Can you not run a few seperate tracks with the same VST plugin, I need to access the great library of different sounds and use them simultaneoualsy to build up my compositions?! (i.e. DiPro on a few tracks with different sounds? (I noticed that if I froze one DiPro track I could get away with working on another one and so on - but that is a really tedious way to work and not why I bought this kind of software!) Has anyone had similar problem and managed to fix it? This is driving me nuts as I have a really important job on that I needs me to be working creatively not as a problem solver! Please help if you have any ideas, I've been trawling the forum but not found anything that quite matches my problem Thanks

This may be an audio driver problem. Try switching to a different driver mode (ASIO, WDM/KS, MME) or see if an audio driver update is available.
