SONG: Hole in my heart, need mix help please

OK, the song is not done!. I'm stuck with the mix. I am an amateur musician just tinkering around but I really would appreciate some help/tips here. I'm not sure where to go with the mix.
This is what I have done:

Sonitus Compressor on some tracks (mostly just a little to tame peaks on Accoustic guitar and Electric guitar and vox).
Accoustic Guitar panned 80%L and 80%R.
Some panning on drums.
Bridge has piano panned right accoustic guitar left.
Everything else panned dead center.
Sonitus EQ just a little cutting out boominess on Accoustic guitar and lo pass at 9KHz.

Specifically I am looking for feedback on:

1. How to bring the Accoustic guitar up some more and give the song more body, warmth.
2. How/where to use Reverb (there is none)
3. How to cut some highs, distortion out of electric guitar.
4. Anything else that comes to mind mixwize for improving the song.

OK, the song is meant to be a 60s rip off, simple meaningless lyrics no frills, get in and get out in 2.5 minutes.

Here is the song:

Thanks already for taking the time to comment if you do.
Cheers,
Kiwis

    Kiwis,
This is a fun little romp; the song definitely has promise.

Here's some things that come mind:
    - Tune the guitars, please!
    - Watch the mud: cut a notch 180-250 on the bass, hpf the gts above 350.
    - Work the arrangement at 1:30 -1:45; the piano goes into the weed at 1:43
    - Did I mention tuning the guitars?

Give this some more work, it's a fun Austin Powers kind of campy tune.

I pretty much agree with Ed's assessment: fun song that needs some work but has a lot of potential.

What Ed said about tuning the guitars cannot be overemphasized. When I am recording guitar I tune it between, and I'm not exaggerating, almost every take. Is it a pain? Well - yes. But you get used to it and it pays off. Another tip: use the same tuner for all of the instruments.

    Thanks,

Nice song. Ditto the previous comments.

Also, the vox could come up in the mix a bit (IMO). I'm not overly crazy about hte sound of the synth that pops up at the very end. It also jumps out at me because I didn't notice it earlier in the song. It makes me think "Where did that come from?"

    Ed, Dan, Mike,

Thanks for taking time out to listen and comment. Wow you noticed the guitar out of tune. I can't tell you how I struggled with it. I would tune it, start to play and be outa tune again. It didn't bother me too much though. I hardly hear it unless I am testing the tuning but I'm glad you did it will tell me to pay attention to this going forward. Mike I also am not fond of that silly horn synth. I'll change it and bring vox up. I also want to find some way to may the song seem less busy and have more body. Thanks again.
