SONG - They came from the North - with correct link (!)
Hi,
I've got a new song out called "They came from the North" - you can check it out here:
http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=10298939
It's going for a reverby, "dirge" like feel ;-)
The usual suspects include:
SONAR 8.5.3
Superior 2 (Music City kit)
Trilian Bass
Omnisphere
real guitar through POD XT
All comments/criticisms/suggestions welcome ;-)

- Asus P8z77-V mobo - using the integrated Intel graphic card (HD4000)
- MOTU Ultralite AVB audio interface
I usually use ASIO set at 64 or 128 samples
er - that's it I think...

Wow! Seems to be some waltzy stuff here at cakewalk. Very enjoyable and the inflencies are quite right for my tea cup. I really like the way it turns to anrachy (almost) at the end and reminds me of Lennons I want you (she 's so heavy). Nice stuff!

What does PF mean? ;-)

I like my reverb for sure, but I'd maybe cut it back a little bit. Trilian sounds nice and you got omnisphere too - not fair !
I think it could use a lead/melody part in the earlier sections to make it sound like a proper instrumental rather than a song awaiting vocals and the end gets a bit muddy listening on laptop speakers.

I dig this alot!!, I would not cut back on the reverb but I would eq the reverbs differently depending on the instrument
