SONITUS NOT THERE ?

hi to all
i have installed sonar 4 on to a laptop.
yes the programme is old but it is what i have always used for the work i do ,
everything was fine and worked well but now i want to start to eddit i have lost sonitus for some reason and it is not visable in any drop down box from the audio fx only cakewalk where as before on my other computer it shows cakewalk and sonitus.
please could someone help me get it back

    Is this a new install of SONAR 4 on a new computer?
    What's the operating system?

    I'm not disputing you, but I don't recall having the Sonitus effects in SHS4.
    I do remember the Sonitus EQ was included with SHS6, and it was kind of a big deal.
    I have the Sonitus Suite now, but I think I got it with Sonar 8.
    Did you possibly download the Sonitus Suite at some point?

    Greg, do you see the Sonitus:Fx option when you insert audio effects?
    If it isn't in SHS6XL, it didn't come with SHS4

    I remember that too.  I had Sonar HS6XL and it included the Sonitus EQ but none of the rest of the Sonitus suite.  It therefore seems unlikely that it would have been included in version 4.

    It definitely was in HS4XL (just opened it up to check), not sure about the non-XL version.

    I seem to recall that the EQ came with SHS 6, but at one point, Cakewalk offered the Suite for free. Or maybe it was the whole Suite that was free.
    They say the memory is the first thing to go.
    Or was that the memory?

    Yup. Got the EQ, none of the other Sonitus stuff... on this non-DAW computer. Which means the other stuff wasn't on the disk.
    The DAW computer has it all. I downloaded it several years ago.
