SORRY GUYS

I have just a few moments but I wanted to let you know I've not been ignoring eveyone, well I have but not on purpose.  I'm down to 1 week from retirement and not only has the job filled my time but there have been a lot of heavy and tragic things that have been happening.

I have to go to California for about 3 weeks and by the end of April I will be back home, retired, and I will have time to get to the song reviews every day.

I miss the interaction will all my music buddies here.    See you regularly in a few weeks!

Daryl

Ahhhh.....1 week until retirement and I can relate.
I retired 12/23/10 being a fine Xmas gift to the self.

I wrote a song that very day called 'I've Just Retired'.  (134 bpm)
It's finished but no lead axe tracks yet as I'd prefer a truly accomplished lead player to do that.
Without meaning to hijack I'd post the lyrics to stimulate some ideas in case you've (or anyone else) pondered putting your retirement glee to a song.

Revel in the glory weed hopper and good luck to you.

Hey Daryl- Retirement can't be beat.  I punched out in mid- December and am lovin' it.  I'm sure you will too.  I even wrote a song about it: "I Ain't Workin' No More," but it's had a pretty good run here and will probably be gone to the back pages by the time you get back.  Maybe you'll write one too.  Best of luck!

Great to hear from ya Daryl, I can certainly understand work getting in the way of music. Best wishes and soon you will be free from all that.
