SPlat install and standalone Melodyne interaction

I am moving from SONAR X3e to CbB by installing SPlat as an transitional step. I am installing SPlat because it has been suggested that this is the best way to pick up some nice Sonar features before going onto CbB. I have a concern because I am running a stand-alone version of Melodyne Studio unrelated to whatever may be in SPlat that I fear may be affected if the SPlat install tries to install the Sonar Melodyne on top of my standalone...you get what I mean. QUESTION: I have never used the "Command Center" for an install before. I just looked at it and it does not seem to allow me to skip Melodyne in the install...but it is hard to tell. I suppose the other option would be to do what I always did and download the zip file and load myself...I seem to recall I could skip Melodyne that way, but it's been a long time. My tendency would be to just do the full SPlat install, then CbB and fix Melodyne later if it needs fixing. Suggestions welcome!  OT: Man, are there a ton of SONAR/CbB posts or what!

IIRC the Command Center only provides info on how to install Melodyne. You then just install it from it's own installation file that integrates with the Region FX. So, your version of Melodyne should just appear in CakeLab same way as Essential would.

So you bought Splat and never used it? ,,weird.

Melodyn is a seperate install in CCC so just don't install it.
Perty obvious when you open CCC.

Method to my madness: I was in the middle of a couple projects and my standard policy in such cases is not to make any changes to Sonar or my system until finished.

There is no requirement to install Melodyne from the Command Center. Skip it. The indicator will stay red because the Command Center only tracks what is run from inside the Command Center. You can also safely skip DPro, Rapture as they are unchanged from X3 Producer. Skip Addictive Drums too, it is just a readme.rtf describing how to get AD2 from the XLN site. The Theme Editor is Platinum specific, install it if you want to tinker with Platinum themes or wait until the CbB editor is released.

Please pardon my persistence, but I do not quite understand yet....

In the command center, I have three main groups of connected products that have dropdowns: Big Fish Audio Loop Content; SONAR Platinum, and finally Rapture Session. There are also some singletons like L-Phase Eq, SONAR Theme Editor and D-Pro. I do not see Melodyne among any of these, and so can only assume that it is either 1.)hiding within the SPlat installer, or 2.)is not part of the install at all.

So my question is: For the SONAR Platinum group, should I use "Install All" and assume I will be prompted when Melodyne comes up for install, or do I need to install component-by-component....but I still do not see where Melodyne would be. I really thought It would be listed along with the other components - and therefore I could skip it -  and so am now just a little confused where it resides, or if it is even part of the install at all.

If Melodyne is in the Command Center it would be at the top level. It is a separate installer. It is not hidden in any other installer included with Platinum. It may be missing because no additional license is issued when upgrading from X3 Producer/Studio to SONAR Professional/Platinum.

I would recommend not using "Install All" but if you do, make sure to install the top level first the use the "Install All" for the rest of the installers.

The installers do not have options for a partial install. In fact, without "Verbose Install" enabled on the Command Center setup screen, most of the installers run without any prompts at all.
