SSL Duende VST3s not altering audio

SSL Duende VST3s not altering audio

I have tried with x-verb and x-comp and the vst3 versions are not altering the signal. The vst2 versions work fine. Have never used the vst3 versions before so maybe my ssl install is dodgy. can anyone test?
 
ssl duende bus comp vst3 version not working either, vst2 works ok
 
the metering on these plugs indicate that they are being overloaded (eg on bus comp- needle pegged to far right) but the signal remains unprocessed. Only with the vst3 versions so no biggie.

    it doesn't bother me seth- just a FYI type thing- incredible release BTW.
