It'll be a great year if you keep producing songs like this!  I like the fact that I can understand the vocals which I've always thought was one of your strengths.  HNY to you!

Great song, the little changes make this interesting end to end, and a tasty guitar solo that I thought was perfect in composition and length. Really enjoyed this thanks.

hey cool :)  thanks so much for the listen, team!  was rather pleased with how this came out...with very little production too. focus mainly were taming the Marshall JCMs just right and to get Steve's drum sound dialed in- with just enough attack on his kick drum to pick up the beater hit but not lose the kick's 'boom' (to be able to hear the galloping double bass pattern which he is kinda synching up with my strumming pattern etc.)  so the kick itself is mic'd on front and in back, with the rear plastic head of kick drum off and pillow inside

    cheers-  :)

hey thanks again everybody for lending your ears for a few minutes :)

& ya the genesis of this song also goes back to an eponymously named indie flick {dealing with subject matter, addiction etc.) by a no name student director which i'd love to see get off the ground one day. we'll see. i've been told a lot of things in this biz lol

Really nicely-balanced arrangement and mix.  Vocal performance sound like some good ole 60s psychodelia - without all the reverb.

This is a seriously good tune.  Great performances and production too.  I was busy with something else as I listened, and the tune pulled me a way from what I was doing.  For me, that says a lot for the song.  Outstanding job all the way 'round, Darren.

I enjoyed this. The intro seemed a little long to me but I like the dark feel to it. Sounds tormented as it should. Nice

Cool rockin' tune. I liked it. Mix sounds good as far as I can tell. This is outside my typical genre but reaches out and grabs the interest. Good job!

technically superb, and hits the current vibe for 60s inspired proto-doom, but this has a pop edge which works well. my only gripe would be the rhythm is a little one-dimensional

    Hey, Daren,

Wow, this is a killer rocker with excellent writing, great playing and dynamite vocals and harmonies!

I love the crunchy guitar tones and the driving beat that keeps it rolling like a freight train.  Nice, tasty guitar solo, and a clean, wide mix too.

    Very cool stuff, bro!
