"SWA Complete Sonar X2" video - index available?

Is there an index or some sort of searchable topic breakdown for the training video "SWA Complete Sonar X2"? Sorry if this has already been covered... I've searched but to no avail. Thanks in advance for the help. Randall

    +1.

I think the series is great and informative, but after a week or two from watching it, it's easy to forget which segment has which set of instructions (if it's not in the segment title).
I was thinking of burning the segments into DVDs and creating a TOC--but that would take more time then just scanning the different segments until I find what I'm looking for. :-p

For anyone who has an iPad, if you load the video onto it, the chapter titles will show up along with a nice summary of the overall video.  Plus, it will "bookmark" itself so that it picks up where you stop playback (which my desktop version of Quicktime does not do).  A convenient way to watch.

Really? I would be interested to know what application on your iPad is listing the summary? I don't have an iPad, but maybe there is a PC equivalent.

I'll try Quicktime to see if it lists the summaries.

The built-in video app displays the summary under the info tab; however it's just the summary of the entire video, not a per chapter summary.

The PC version of Quicktime will show the chapter titles.  I think you access them via a drop-down window on the bottom right-hand of the player.

There is a SWA_complete_chapter_list in PDF format which identifies the timings of the start of each topic or chapter.

If I can find how to attach/upload it I will do so.

Karl - this is really helpful!

Two internal 2TB SSDs laptop stuffed with Larry's deals and awesome tools. Studio One is the cat's meow as a DAW now that I've migrated off of Sonar. Using BandLab Cakewalk just to grab old files when migrating songs.

Beauty--this will help. I honestly started getting a little frustrated while trying to record a demo in X2 for the fist time last night. Simple things that should not be a hindrance were taking over the focus of the project. I even have a laminated copy of all of the keyboard shortcuts--but there are four pages to sort through!

I watched all of these video segments, but I think it will be well worth the time to go over the ones that contain functions I use all the time again--and maybe again!

    Thank you!
