Sample + Flip -- Old School Hop Hop Beat (Original Sample Included)

Fairly straightforward soul sample beat -- just some basic old school hip hop flavor: Original Sample http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k0ZJScfQo4I (most of the chops come from the first 30 seconds) My Flip: http://www.soundclick.com...11400268&q=hi&newref=1 Be sure to check out the chop section at 2:10 -- had some fun putting that together! Let me know what you guys think!

It's a good beat, and I can see people getting up and dancing to it.  However, it goes nowhere and is repetetive, therefor, I can see people sitting down after a while.  I lead vocal, instrument solo, bridge, chorus, or any numbers of things can help this.  I get the feeling this is unfinished, and I await the final version.  The production is fine, it just needs some icing.

    All the best,
    Lynn

I think Lynn is right.  I have been told that when you are on the dance floor you don't notice.  Over the years I  have criticized many great sounding songs for starting great and staying the same with no changes.  I guess it depends on who I was dancing with.  My suggestion would also be to introduce some thingys to break it up.  Sounds good, though.
