SampleTank 3 Issues *Solved*
I've just discovered that EVERY project I have using SampleTank 3 has "forgotten" the instruments held there. I updated to Cambridge last week never thinking there would be any issues like this. How do I downgrade back to Braintree? I have about 2 hours worth of material for a show I'm musical director on and was going for final mixes this week having spent literally months getting all my sounds just right.

OK so this is strange. Rebooted Windows and opened a project from last year which used the VST2 version of SampleTank 3. Closed and opened one of my new projects which uses VST3. Now everything is working fine and I cannot replicate my previous problem. Anyone else encountered this?

Al is well that ends well I guess.
I don't have ST3 but am seriously considering it's purchase because IK's download, install, and authorize of all the other products I already had was STELLAR... far easier than anything else I've installed in SPLAT (I'm setting up a Studiocat and SPLAT) so it isn't picking up VSTs from previous installs. Some products have been very annoying to get downloaded, unzipped, installed, and working in W8... so ST3 is getting a more serious look from me.
Anyway, that is the reason I read this thread, I was thinking, "dang", but really I'm glad to see that is resolved itself and hope you have no more problems. I'll be really interested to know if you have any more trouble with ST3 and SPLAT. I'll subscribe to this thread.

I had some minor issues with the VST3 version when it was first released, but it has been mostly smooth since patches.

I find that the VST3 version takes a good while to scan and then a lng time to load in a project but that's the first time only.

Updated everything to 3.5 yesterday with no problems. All the previous VST3 issues seem to have been resolved. Good additions to sounds as well.

Great news, I didn't know about the 3.5 update to SampleTank 3. I got an email yesterday and deleted it thinking it was mor epromotional stuff. That'll learn me hey!

I had the IK email this morning, but I checked their forum and there are a lot of reports of this update causing very long delays switching between the UI windows. So I'm hanging fire at the moment. IK's Peter is saying that it's not affecting everyone - but that's no consolation, as you have to update to see if you're in the unlucky group! I'll wait until their technical people have got a handle on things first.
Has anyone here updated and had this lag thing set in?
PS: For the OP: I updated to Cambridge the other day and all my instrument selections were still there in ST3 when I opened my projects.
My stuff Intel Sandy Bridge i7 2600 @ 3.4GHz, 4 cores, 8 threads, 16GB RAM.OS & Programs drive: 240GB SSD
Data drives: 1 x 1TB drive RAID mirrored, plus extra 1TB data drive
