Sampled Instruments Unload

When I return from an extended break the sampled sounds don't work properly so I have to shut the project down & reload it.
Is there any way X1 can keep the samples loaded during extended breaks?
Is there a checkbox somewhere for this?

    Never seen anything like that. AFAIK samples remain loaded until you freeze or delete the sampler.

    Maybe it's something else, like your computer going into suspend or some other power-saving mode. That can hose USB ports if you don't configure them so they're never powered down.


    All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.
