Sampler Instrument?

Isn't there a sample instrument included in sonar x1?...i've not done any of that in years...

    Drop Zone is what you want. Look at this.

    If you don't mind going outside of SONAR for free third party product TX16Wx might be worth a look

    Can you be more specific about what you need? Drop Zone, Studio Instruments and Dimension Pro are all "sample instruments" but each serves a very different application.

    Rapture is also a sample instrument, albeit shorter wavetable types are its forte. There is also the SFZ player. Plenty of sample options in Sonar when you get down to it.

    To drop in my own sounds mainly, as opposed to a sample player based instrument.  DropZone seems to be the one for that.  I'm going to download the other one mention too, as it's 64 bit.

    Yeah, it's not bad for free. Might even pop for the Pro version to support future development, it is cheap enough.
