Wow - I bet that will be cool. I don't have it but I always liked the sound of their amped-up Rhodes.

I doubt he's having any problem finding volunteers. In fact, he's probably wishing right now he'd made a few private inquiries rather than posting on a public forum! Nevertheless, I, too sent him an email.

I look forward to this very much. I expect SampleTekk will do a fine job with it. And you know that it will be reasonably priced because all of his products are, and then there are the sales which provide real discounts. Yummy!

I have great faith in Mr. Larsson. He knows what he's doing. However, the "ultimate" sampled Hammond has long been an elusive dream and I wonder if it's even possible within the paradigm of sample libraries. There are just too many variables. So yeh, I'm looking forward to hearing this one, with fingers crossed.

I think he is starting out with the right goal, he says "It's not "the ultimate Hammond clone" we are trying to make here, but a rough, steaming rock'n'roll animal!" So hopefully by concentrating on that he will nail the grit and hit the jackpot. NI's Vintage Organs tries to be all things to all men and while it's great in some areas the gritty rock sound is where its lacking.

The NI organs do not quiet have the grind of the hard rock B3; even their once great B4ii seems to fall just a bit short of that distorted Purpelesque B (but that is about all it did not get right). For years now, I have thought that the VB3 has that hard core grit and grind of the overdriven pushed rock B3 nailed down. I love my B4 and Vintage Organs, but the VB3 fills in a certain grindy, gritty gap. Nevertheless, it will be nice to have another option in the B3 rock and roll arena; it will be very nice indeed to have a different spin and grind on it.
