Save Clip? Clip File?

Is there a way to save a clip to a separate file? thanks Keith

    Select it and then export it using File->Export.

    Or you can simply create a folder (in explorer) and then just drag & drop the clip to this folder. Drag from the DAW directly to explorer, that is.

    If you want any effects applied to the clip you'll have to freeze the track first though and this just works with effects that are in the track's or clip's fx-bin. (Doesn't work with send fx, in other words)
    And if you use effects only in the clip's fx-bin, Bounce to Clip(s) works as well, instead of freezing the track.

    This is a nice way of doing it if you've got lots of clips you want to export. I use this method when I, for example, need to export lots of short voice-clips, like for a video game.

    File->export is better if you want to export the clip and have it sound just as it would in the final mix.
