Do you mean Music Creator 24? If so then it is a cakewalk program and will save in all the basic cakewalk formats, one issue is that many times cakewalk and other programs are upward compatible, meaning that they do not work well going downward, the reason being that, a higher program may process a file in a format that the lower one does not recognize. Not so much in the sense of .bun or .wrk, but in the sense of 16bit or 24bit wave and such, the work around for that is to make sure that the tracks being shared are in a universal format, midi, or wave, even MP3 that is standard.

Wave file tracks should be 16 bit, 44,100 htz to work anywhere, if one wants to record in a higher quality, like 24 bit and 48,000 htz, or even 96,000 htz then fine but some of the lower priced program version, and the lower end sound card will not be able to handle that.

Remember that is you are recording wave file that the higher the quality to a reason means better headroom and less clipping, so a better finished product, yet, the standard to burn in the industry is 16bit, 44,100 htz, this is found on all commercial CDs.
