Saved VST Plugin Settings; Simple X1 Fix?

Greetings; I'm a fairly new Sonar X1 user, and i absolutely love the program. But i do have a couple minor nags, and i wonder whether a) there are other users who feel the way i do about these things and b) the chances of seeing fixes in the not-too-too-distant future.

The major minor nag i have is about VST plugin settings, which never seem to save properly. For instance, every time i use Waves Super Tap delays set to project BPM, i have to go into the Plugin Manager, open the Super Tap settings page,  then tick Configure As Tempo Based Effect. If i start another project and use this same plugin, it's necessary to go thru the same procedure.

Some plugins (i'm thinking of Little Endian SpectrumWorx) have features that will only work if Configure As Tempo Based Effect is activated (i.e. synced LFOs), so this is not just a convenience issue. There are other VST plugins that similarly need settings changes every time they are used; one that gets mentioned now and then on this forum is Camel Audio's Alchemy and Always Suspend On Stop/Play (to prevent hanging notes).

Judging by past forum threads on Alchemy, I know that other X1 users encounter the same problem...do other people find it as much a nuisance as i do? I would have figured that this is a fairly easy problem to fix, but maybe that's not the case?

Regards
Glenn
