Saving User Presets

There are definitely a few bugs in X1. Right now I can't save a user preset in certain plugs like Pantheon or any of the Sonitus and Cakewalk plugs. All I can do is overwrite the current preset. Is there a way around this?

It's not what you do, It's why you do it.

    Example using the Sonitus Reverb:

On way around it is to not use the save button for the preset list at the top of the page but instead click on the preset button (fifth button from the left on the main VST section) and click on add preset.

This will allow you to enter text for the name of the preset and which bank to save it to (Aux Bus or Sonitus fx).  In my test I saved it to the Sonitus fx bank.

It doesn't show up in the top preset list but it can be loaded via the same preset button it was saved to.

    Not perfect but usable.

Thanks. I'll give it a shot. Hope they get it fixed though.

Ooops, Boy am I a dummy. The preset title window is gray instead of the white that it use to be so I just assumed it was blocked. You can still click in the window and save even thou it's grayed out.

That makes two dummies :-) .

I tried it earlier but to no avail.  After reading your reply I got it to work.  I must not have been double clicking fast enough in the preset name area.

    Thanks.
