Saving VX-64 Tweaks

I'm working a vocal track, add the VX64 Vocal Strip, select a preset close to what I'm looking for and then tweak it until I likes. Then I dbl click the name name it and hit save. It holds until I minimize the plug-in and then it reverts to the initial selection.

This process works fine with all other Cakewalk and VST plug-ins but not the VX 64 vocal.
Any ideas????

I'm running 8.5 Producer on a Win7 32 bit machine, 4 gig ram & Intel 3 ghz Duo Core

This seems to be a bug - and it happens with a number of plugins.

However - the tweaks you make do get changed and saved, it's just a name-display bug, not an actual settings (tweaks) bug.

So if you reload the project the tweaks will come back.  Only the preset name will be incorrect.
If you find this is not the case, then the VX plugin probably needs to be reinstalled.

Seems like a bug to me. I can't get it to reliably save a setting under a new name.

I wish that were the case bit the settings also revert to the preset. Every time I have to re-open the VX-64. Even if I close the VX-64 and re-open while the project remains open I still have to reset.

I paid the extra $$ for the 8.5 Producer version specifically to get these vocal & percussion tools and Cakewalk needs to issue a fix before asking me for another $99.00 to upgrade to X-1.

I'm not one to post a lot of complaining in forums but this ticks me off!

VX64 has some bugs.   Try reinstalling it.

That solves some of these issues for others.
