Select "Tracks" instead of "Entire Mix" in the Bounce Settings - Source Buses/Track section of the Export Audio dialog. I'll assume you have an MP3 encoder to select.

By default Sonar does not include an MP3 encoder. If you have an old Pro Audio 9 disc you could use that to register the mp3 encoder that came with it (it's more than 10 years old.)

    You can buy one here:

Audacity is supposed to have a free one but I haven't used it.

    Peace,

If you have Wave Lab, just open the batch process, browse to the Sonar Audio folder, highlight all the tracks, hit the big button.  Best to direct the save  to a new folder but it's not hard to separate MP3, they are always smaller file size.

OK, here's my question regarding mp3 coverting. After I'm done editing and mixing the trks and eveything sounds great, I'll bouce to master, and make a few minor mastering tweaks in the master trk and export as mp3....how come the mp3 never sounds anywhere as good as the cwb.? Usally the bass is too loud and muddy. Any idea's?

Export as WAV - does it sound the same as the tracks in Sonar? If so, the reason the MP3 doesn't sound as good is because its a compressed file and the method used to create MP3s causes a loss of fidelity. It also depends on what bit rate you use for the MP3 file. The higher the bit rate, the better the sound, but the larger the file since its not compressed as much.
