Ah, the singing is fine and good, but well, the one piano chord in the chorus is just plain - ah - not right. The third time you are just hitting I guess the root note of what the chord should be. Well, to me it sounds wrong, but the singing is fine throughout the song. That's my take on it, and I have to live with that.

Don't know the song or the band, but this is lovely Mr & Missus G. I felt myself drifting into a pleasingly lachrymose stupor...which was nice.

I like it better than the original. Sounds more appropriate and real. Sorry, but the original feels like a put on, like someone wrote that first line and then wrote a song around it. Your version makes me believe you, that you're really giving up on me...and I don't even know you...

A great version even if I haven't heard the original. Fantastic vocals as usual and I really like the tastefully used harmonics. A top notch arrangement!

thanks Spacealf. I will pass on your compliments to my good lady. I can't take any responsibility for that chord - It's a cover and I (think) I phrased it as per the original song. It's the D note going throughout the chord progression that gives it that 'off' feel

Great song, loved it. Sorry Daryl, the playing is good but it's the vocal that takes it to the next level. Pass on my compliments to the singer, there is true tenderness and longing in that delivery.
