Cool song and I liked the mix - your voice reminds me of Peter Gabriel. The song works well without drums.

Many thanks guys for your time...just a thing Wookiee I entirely agree but this was recorded some 15 years ago on my Tascam 688 Midi studio and all I have is this stereo version, it started as a throw away but I found it again and although the Misses hates it I just wondered was my pears thought ... so thanks for your input (Might re-do it now just to wind her up Ha Ha)

Was that Tascam a tape format or digital? Very smooth sounding mix. Did you mix this "in the box" or export the tracks to a PC based DAW? I like this tune. Very dreamy. Looking back on pre adolescent love, I can relate.  John B.

Johnbee ... It was ( and as I've still got it ) is 1/8th cassette tape running at twice the speed of an ordinary cassette. Unbelievable sound with eight tracks ! In it's day cost me £2500.00 but I loved it and have another one purchased off Ebay as a donar machine. If your interest holds out here's a link on YT ( https://youtu.be/DMOq_zdYSfQ ). I have various O/B gear and used this although I mastered it later using Cyberlink's Audio Director though didn't have to do much to the mix. I think the SPL Vitalizer was a great addition to the overall sound ... hope this answers your question. Steve
