Schope. Please help

Is anyone using the Schope analyzer? Mike Senior spoke of it in his book so I bought it [probably should have demoed it first but so far I haven't found any plugins that Sonar has rejected]. I guess I just don't know how to use it. I can't get tracks to recognize that Schope has 4 inputs for comparison. The track outputs only recognize channel 2 in Schope. I'd like to assign two separate tracks to separate Schope channel inputs for comparison but no joy. Can anyone help me, please? Thanks

EFaaT, you probably have your answer or have moved on by now, but I'm in the process of demoing schOPE 3.0.5 right now. So far it's been unstable in that something that doesn't work the first time may work the next time. So far I haven't found anything that worked the first time but not the second. I'm working on a simple project with two mono tracks (vocal and DIed acoustic guitar). Here's what I've learned in my few hours with schOPE in SONAR Platinum (Version 21.13.00 BUILD 32 Newburyport x64) so far.

    schOPE:
    • Only likes stereo channels. So I created a separate aux stereo bus and added sends panned hard left and right for the mono guitar and vocal tracks respectively to the aux stereo bus. Now I have a stereo bus with the guitar in the left channel and the vocal in the right channel.
    • Seems unstable in SONAR.
      • I tried putting schOPE in the aux stereo bus FX rack. It went in with no errors but It wouldn't open. So I removed it and inserted it into the Master bus FX rack. There it installed and opened. What I saw in channel 1L/R was the mix. Since I haven't added any spacial effects (just compression and EQ), the left and right channels are identical.
      • I then added a send from the aux stereo bus to schOPE in the Master bus and turned off the 1L/R channels in schOPE. Now I can see the vocal and guitar tracks in green and blue respectively. Very handy since they're both in the same register.
      • Once that was working I went back and tried again to insert schOPE into the aux bus FX rack. This time it worked and that's where I am now. I've got channel 2L/R turned off and I've deleted schOPE from the Master bus FX rack. The guitar is in gray and the vocal is in red. Perfect.
    • Support seems good so far. I'm only demoing it right now, but Stillwell has replied to my first email which helped me get it working. My reply email was rejected by the server; but I'm guessing it will get through when I try again tomorrow morning.
Hope this helps. I'm also interested in hearing from any other users that have experience with the current version of schOPE.

    Thanks.
