Sorry to say this but I am back in the ER. Just sitting still I feel like I ran five miles and can't catch my breath. Sheesh! Vitals are fine and the docs are once again stumped. Sigh....

Best wishes Scotty. I hope they get it figured out ASAP. You may find a chapter in Malcom Gladwell's book "Blink" interesting. It describes an analysis of triage protocols for diagnosis of imminent heart issues.

Thanks guys! Me too. They ruled out a pulmonary embolism and referred me to a cardiologist who will be performing an echocardiogram on Monday. In the meantime I am missing work and gigs and have to sit around being out of breath all the time. Dang!

Hi Scotty , I feel your pain buddy because I have been there back in 2012 when I had my first heart attack .
Hope you get past all the test with flying colors , hopefully you will get out soon so you can get back to playing again with your band mates .

Thanks guys. They actually sent me home yesterday and today I will probably head south to a better hospital where they are no longer practicing medicine, but actually doing it.

Thanks Rik. Spoke to cardio dude today and he assured me that it would be fine to wait until Monday for my echocardiogram. Been getting a little tracking done for a client but have to do it in short runs.

No, Rob, it turned out to be a mini stroke and some esophageal spasms. Now I am left with extreme fatigue and shortness of breath. More testing next week.

Last time I saw him, I offered to give him mouth to mouth? Because he was looking a little peaked? He fought me off pretty well? So I think he's OK. I'm pretty strong? And I was persistent? But he won out... So I think he's OK ;-) Besides, I'm a lousy kisser? I was all like, HOLD STILL! I'M TRAINED!!! and he was all like, GET THE F*** OFF ME!! NURSE!! ORDERLY!! And I'm like what? It is always a good thing to get lots of rest, be patient and never sign the blues when your not feeling well. When your heart starts moving slow speed it up with a gentle walk, the exercise will get the blood flowing. Oh yea, don't forget to listen to your doctor and take those med's!
