Screen color scheme

I was looking in the Cakewalk instruments section and noticed this advertisement for Rapture Pro, in the picture is a computer monitor with the Track view of a DAW. Is this screen showing Sonar? How do you get the black background or that type of screen color scheme in Platinum?

That's a mac and it is not sonar. They were advertising their vsti's which work in all DAWs and consciously using a mac DAW to show sonar is not just a windows company.

Probably logic. Have you tried messing with Sonar's colors? I never have, I like the current scheme, but a darker one may be nice too.

Thanks, I've changed some colors in piano roll but I never messed with it to get that darker background. Maybe somebody can give us a tip on what to adjust to get this look.

    Probably logic.

Is that image even possible ?  Does mac or logic allow borderless windows ?  I wish windows did.  RPro would look that much nicer.  (I think it looks great, but the border kind of spoils it.)

you can get those vibrant colors for your tracks by doing this (thanks to Craig on his tips list)

Week 53: How to Get Really Vibrant Track/Console Colors

    1. Click on the color bar, then click on “Other.”

    2. Enter 240 for Saturation and 120 for Luminance.

    3. Choose the color by clicking at the very top of the color picker, or type a value into the Hue field.

    4. Here’s an example of going nuts with color. Whee! Happy Friday!

    Roland Octa-Capture

Still they mess with the method use to handle colors when they jump to X from s8.5. they used to be "lively" where now are "dless vivid". Anyway....craig's trick help and I've learned to live with.

My my 0.02$ useless comment of the day.....(-:

This colors are not vibrant. Colors on track labels in the bottom of track strips are really vibrant, colors on the tracks itself are very very dull still.
And it have nothing to do with the picture in the first post from Logic or GarageBand, I don't know, because it is clip backgrounds what make it cool, and Sonar just ignore clip backgrounds in suggested look and workflow, and it is immediately drops down Sonar's GUI class.
