Screensets and Floating console view on 2nd monitor

I haven't been able to switch between screensets without dropouts and glithches.
So , being envious of others, i tried different scenarios to try and isolate the problem.
I've found that what works for my sys...

WIN 7 64
q6600
ATI radeon HD 6850
4g ram
Sonar x1 32 bit
floppy disabled
...

is to not enable floating and stretch across both monitors.
One annoyance, CV is always smaller when switching between 1 and 2 even with locking .(ss1= TV and CV side by side.  ss2 =CV maximized)
I willing to accept this but would really like to have floating enabled w/out glitches.
All suggestions are welcome.
TIA

I have floating enabled without glitches. Use dpc latency checker and try differet video card drivers.  I have a radeon card also and tried a few different versions of their drivers till I found the best one.  It's actually like 4 versions old.  the newer drivers were giving me dpc spikes.

Another thing i have recently found with screensets also.  Mapping them to midi makes them switch faster.  not sure why.  Screensets with the browser open are the slowest for me also.

    Thanks Sykodelic.
What are you using as a midi trigger?
My reason for asking, I have a 61 key controller that sits to the left of me ( I transpose often).
In front a M-Audio Projectmix I/O operating in Mackie control mode.
I'm trying to think of minimal button presses.

I have 8 pads on my controller I map to them through act.  It's the roland a500 it was really easy to set up.

Your latency looks fine. could be a little lower but definitely shouldn't be the issue....

    +1 Same here! ;-)

I have glitches in "AUDIO" during playback if I switch Screensets. No dropouts though.
I use NVIDIA card. I don't care so much about it when I work but if Cakwalk fix it that would be nice. I use two 24# monitors, floating windows. If I don't switch Screensets during playback I have no glitches in the audio. Only glitches in LOOP mode?

    Best Regards
    Freddie
