Screensets crashes X1

Title kinda says it all. Click on a screen set.  Crash... Also when I open a plug in and try to drag it, the screen turns light blue and morphs into a large new full screen window that only has the plugin in it.  Is this a computer graphics issues or another wonderful feature that I fail to fully appreciate   I'm thinking its something X1'ish because its the same computer and I never had a plug dragging problem with any previous version.

I think the Skylight feature makes the plug-in GUI "go large", it can be avoided - don't drag it to the top of the screen.

I don't bother with screensets as the change isn't that quick and I always fear a crash is on the cards as my spinny "busy" icon thing spins.

I have much older PC and the change is practically instant. You have checked the possible floppy drive problem?

Grumbleweed when you say "go large" are you talking about the plugin going large? If so, that's not what happens here.  The plug in stays the same size but when I move it it's quickly and without warning transferred to a new and larger white screen that covers the entire page. I must close it to proceed which closes my plugin. Which I have to reopen and move  and then move it like I'm negotiating a mine field. My plugins all open at the top of the screen.  The problem happens when I try to move them down or sideways, it's unpredictable.  Sometimes it occurs sometimes not. If this is a feature can I turn it off?

I meant the plug-in GUI is the same but the background is the whole screen. I can't make a plug-in go full screen by accident.
