Sea Thirteen

Here's one off my CD 'Circles' that I like pretty much. Might be a little dated.
Smooth Jazz I guess.
I call it Sea Thirteen.

    Timayyyyyyy! Timmy! Timmy Jimmy? LOL!

You are one of the few I would consider purchasing music from? The only person I have "actually" purchased music from on this forum is James? I purchased a song with Wilkerson singing, an acrobat supper song? I really have respect for that guy, and James and Larry are pretty good too.

    So it's;

    James + crew (already purchased)
    Then probably

Tanton... He is just awesome on pretty much everything he does? And has an awesome band "always..."

Then, maybe you? So that's "rarefied air..." You're in special company there sir.

All you need is love, just ask the Beatles?

Nice tune. I thought the bassdrum was just a bit loud though.

Too smooth to move  - that's you that is ! You have a great knack of making me like things I didn't think I would, which is why I always listen to your stuff.  Love the percussion in particular - great sounds. Nothing wrong with this as is, but it would also sound great with a vocal - think in terms of George Michael's Desafinado or A Moment with You.

When I play it back hi-fi, it is in mono!  Don't know what's wrong.  All other songs on the forum come out in stereo.  I love your work.  Thanks.

Thanks for the kudos guys and gal.

    James, Janet, Paulo, JamesYo, Rimshot.

Good ears Rimshot. I don't know what's up with that. Just checked my local file and it's stereo. Actually, nice to know it seems to work in mono:) I'll try and get the other file up.

Paulo. Yea, vocals are always nice. If George Michael calls, I'm sure we can work something out. Yea, I like the percussion too. Took a while to find the right idea.

    Radio, A masterpiece is good:)

Spacecalf. Yea, I sort of agree. But, that's usually on Tues and Fri. Every other day it just seems to move the tune.

Robbay.................................. LOL. OK...... Ya know my CDbabe link is in my sig. Same with Frank's. You probably really need both CDs in your collection, eh?
Wilkerson has a great voice (as do you if'n you quit bein a purist and use the tools that god or melodyne gave you).  Glad I'm in Frank's rarified air........
    Thanks Robbay

glad it's not sounding dated James and Gary and Malcomb and Mark,

Glad you like the octaves Jeff.

I remember the first time I listened to this... I was blown away, and I knew then, that you were special... in a really good way...
This is one of my favorites from the album... I love everything about it... especially the subtle muted horns, and your tasteful use of reverb... Touch and tone on the guitar are outstanding... is this your Epi? P-90 or humbucker?

Well, I listened to the song again, and it seemed to be okay. Wonder now what causes that - perhaps listening to other songs also? Maybe the hearing is off some days?? I think it has something to do with loud bassdrums on other utube videos part of the time, I guess. Oh, well!

Are there any genres that you don't kick ass in?   Seriously good vibe and guitar lines, very Carlson like, both in style and tone.

Beautiful stuff Tim, great tune as well as performance.  I would like to hear the wood block a little more on this... but maybe it's just my ears.
