Beagle awesome guys and gals! production and mix are excellent! love the plinky piano on this - it fits perfect for this production! bass sounds great...the bass player....meh.
who is Wanda Rinn? what did she do on this?
Cheers mate. The bass player would be out of the band by now if it weren't for his beautifully rounded bottom end.

emeraldsoul Big fan here. I think on this song, Elizabeth has achieved the "feelin' it" level. I noticed that right away! Great emotion and interpretation! Plus, just a killer voice! Anybody else want the bass down .5 db or something? I was listening on headphones, so I'll get to my monitors and see if there's a diff. I bet there is. +1 for the fadeout - super long, very pro! Really, really nice job! cheers, -Tom
Thanks so much Tom. Bapu also thinks th he bass needs to come down a hair which means it must be too high! I will tweak it soon.

Needs more cowbell:) Seriously great work. Drums and bass are excellent. I would like to hear the LVOX a little louder. Prefer this to the Wham/George Michael version..... Regards

I loathe and detest this song, so you'll appreciate the effort it took for me to listen to your version, which is excellent, as usual. Please don't do 'I Will Survive'..please...

Jesse Screed I Love this timed of year, and last night that movie with Jimmy Stewart was on the free tele, and this is the first song I am listening to this morning. It is a great feel good song. I absolutely love the vocals. She puts me in the spirit, and she sounds really nice. Other than that I have nothing to add except that this is a great way to start the day. Thanks Jesse
Thanks Jesse - It's a Wonderful Life is my fave Christmas Movie. The current Mrs Daryl1968 is quite nice I suppose :) I quite like her.

kakku This was just perfect. One of my fav songs executed just perfectly. Mix sounded balanced. Please do Wake me up b4 u go go. It would be cool. This is just a theoretical question as I don't have the money yet, but how much would you charge for making lyrics to a tune and then performing it? A rough estimate will do.
Thanks so much Kakku. We will talk about the lyrics thing but I wouldn't take any money from you mate. We would call it a collab.
Thank you! I just remembered I had unsubscribed this thread also(reason is simple but evil, I hope I get nice comments about my song so If I unsubscribe I can BE Møre certain it is about my songs and not some other thread I have participated).

kevmsmith81 Listened to the 4-track playlist and loved them all. I wasn't familiar with "Merry Christmas Darling" but what a great song. And in "Last Christmas" and "I Believe In Father Christmas" you've actually chosen two of my favourite Christmas songs and done a fantastic job. Well done Fizzy Pickle!
Thanks Kev. Really appreciate it

Freddy J What a perfect song for the season. Great production, performance, delivery on the vocals, and song. Ya, you might want to consider using that bass player again. Excellent stuff. Happy holidays.
Cheers Freddy. As I keep saying, the bazz is the star on this one. Love it.

Another fine job there, FPs! I've probably heard this song a thousand times, but I have to say your version was a very nice alternative. And another super clean mix there, Daryl. I don't know what it is you do to get things so clear yet so punchy at the same time, but whatever it is, keep doing it. Oh, and the monkey bottom end sounds good too.

Great stuff.... Did Ed play his Alembic on this one? I love the tones and that piano sits so well in the mix. The Misses nailed this one (such a sweet voice) and the cowbell was subtle yet effective. Loved it!
