Seattle Seahawks Win the Division and Gain Playoff Birth @ 7-9

What the heck....................I'll take it .

I'm even partially stoked

Hey, they made the playoffs so anything can happen!!! (I'm just saying that because I'm trying to convince myself that my Chiefs can beat the Ravens on Sunday - who knows!?).

ooh it's getting towards the time of year i get my other avatar out...

I was a big time Steelers fan,dating back to the Franco Harris,Joe Green,Ham,Lambert,Swan,Blier,Bradshaw......days.


When the big Ben era arrived I checked out.

Congrats to the Seahawks on today's win.

Yes its good to knock the defending champions down and out, doesn't it?

The Seahawks' first and only Super Bowl appearance was in 2006 for Super Bowl XL

Played on February 5, 2006 at Ford Field in Detroit, the Steelers defeated the Seahawks, 21–10,

but the Saints WON their one and only SuperBowl Game ..

Yes the New Orleans Saints may not be the best, and they have had a miserable history, yes maligned and mocked ,

but its JUST a game and there has to be a loser , but ALL the teams are WINNERS in my opinion

I was actually a regular season Saints fan some years ago ,going back to the Jim Mora Sr. teams.


I know their history well.


But Seattle' professional sports history is equally depressing......if not worse.


At this point I'm taking the wins where and when I can get  them


Now I'm not detecting sour grapes or a closet Saints fan , Am I?

Yes it is, I hope the Saints fans remember this.

LSU is one of mine and my sons more liked college programs as well.
 Especially during NCAA Basketball season, I believe they knocked the UW Huskies out of the NCAA Tourney a couple years back..
Yes my enthusiasm for the UW Hukies is likely over the top!!!!!


With the Seahawks I'm actually more in shock


But hey I'm pretty  tame.............but I'm happy!!


Have you ever run into a Eagles fan..........or better yet Alabama or Oklahoma fan......talk about spirited,over the top..........WOW.


Thats why I rejoiced so thoroughly in UW's win over Nebraska.


The Nebraska fans fit right in with Alabama and Oklahoma.


Can't be knocked for their enthusiasm and loyalty, their allegiance is second to none.

And, the Saints are pretty stacked I'm sure they'll be  back this time next season..........Seattle's roster has changed so much who knows where they'll be tis time next season...........oh well, at last they have 1 more week guaranteed this season.
