In the PVR (Piano Roll View) you can either show the midi as midi notes with a keyboard on the side or a Drum pane with drum notes (if you have a drum map assigned). If you have the drum pane showing then the midi notes will look like little diamonds without length because a drum hit really doesn't have any length.
Now if your midi notes are shown on the normal midi piano view then you can select all (cntl-A) or lasso select all the notes you want and then zoom in and put your mouse near the end of one of the notes. Then you can drag them all out longer.
You can also select all of them and then up in the control bar there is an event inspector. You can type a length in for the notes and they will all get that duration.
Another option, if the duplicate notes are on top of each other, is to run a MIDI CAL file from the menu (I can't remember the exact path to it). CAL files are scripts that run on midi data and do whatever someone has programmed them to do. There is one that is called something like "DeleteDups" or the like.
