Selling V-Studio

People like to trade up their gear and an active re-sale market keeps people in the buy and sell business.

The license to Sonar Producer is not re-salable or transferable. We all know that.

What happens to someone who buys V-Studio 700 and later wants to sell their gear. The Sonar license goes with the package. Are they allowed to sell the license with the gear?

I am writing an article about the V-Studio so it's not an academic question.

Cheers, sp

A wild guess would be that you're selling the hardware separately, as that is the only product you're allowed to sell. Then, they buyer of the hardware would have to buy a new licence of Sonar to use Sonar with the hardware. Theoretically the hardware could be used with other software, not just Sonar.
After all, you can buy the hardware new without a Sonar license, for people who allready have a Sonar license.
