Selling software license

Hi,

I'm considering to sell my license to some of my non-Cakewalk software. Is it allowed to post the offers here ? I don't see anything mentioned against it but on the other hand I don't see any other posts of that kind.
Would anyone have some good suggestions to other places I might want to try ?
BTW, the license transfers will be stricktly after the rules of the different program developers.

Thanks and kind regards from...

Erik Oberg

    Hi Erik,
AFIK, it's against the TOS to post such (I wish they did have Classified Section).

The best place I can suggest is the KVR Market_Place Forum. I've bought a lot of really good sofwtware from there and have basically got them for 1/2 price.
You can do a search there and see what others are selling the same items for so you can list yours accordingly.

Gearslutz also has a Market Place section, but I don't have any experience in buying anything.

Best of luck with the sales!!

People do buy off non-regulars. I've done it myself. Be organised and know the transfer policy of the software you're selling and explain the procedure to the buyer. Knowledgable buyers will do this themselves anyway for their own safety. Maybe sell your cheapest item first. People won't feel there's much of a risk then and you'll get good feedback and a mention on the feedback thread and you'll be up and running. It's best to use Paypal, it covers both you and them but I wouldn't ask for the 'gift' option as a newbie.

    Hi Striking,

Yes, that's pretty much the way I intended to do it, including the Paypal option. As a seller, of course, I also want some kind of security and I wont sell to the first in line if that buyer somehow makes me feel uncertain.
    But great stuff Striking, thanks!
