Sending project to 2nd Sonar user using the Bundle

I know my other sonar friend doesn't have some of my plugins on his version. (which is X3 and mine's Splat)
Can I freeze the tracks (unless a better way please) and save as a bundle so it can be opened on another instance of sonar, and have all tracks that are frozen pay normally on their DAW and sound like I have it here on mine?

Thanks, Paul

You don't need to use a bundle. Just use the CWP files and make sure its all inside a folder with the audio folder in there too. Bundles do weird things to projects sometimes.

And yes if there is a synth they don't have just freeze those synths.

I know this thread is a few day old but I would like to offer some suggestions on sending Cakewalk projects to other users. This is something I have done quite a few times. As well sending CWP to users with different DAW's.

As Johnny mentioned, don't use Bundle, use WinRAR instead.
A detailed description of track listings is also a plus. Put in in the outside of the main working project folder.
Also another suggestion - select all your tracks and choose: Bounce to tracks".
This heals all clips in to one solid audio track. Then use the "Clean Audio folder" function under Utilities.

What this does is rid your project from all those takes, small fragments of clips in the audio folder that are no longer needed. It will prevent you from sending a project that is 1GB in size to a project that is 400MB in size.
It will also clean up the audio folder well enough where Audio files will not be a complete mess trying to decipher what is what.

Not to blow my own horn but when I send someone a project, the working folder looks like this

Not only does this make me confident about what I have sent but also typically circulates my name in production circles of someone who has their sh#t together.
