Sending track to a bus error

Everytime I try to create a second send on one on my tracks, Sonar has a fatal error and shuts down.  Is there a fix for this?

Thanks, Keith

Can you give more details? I have tons of sends and Sonar NEVER crashes for me doing that.

Try adding the send but don't put any FX on the Send bus initially (does it crash doing this)...

Next, add your FX >>> which FX? Did it crash? Crash when you hit play or when you added the FX?

I make some videos. This one shows how to do a physical loopback on the RME UCX to get many more equalizer nodes.

I can create the first send with no issues.  If I try to send the track to a second buss is when it crashes.  The specific track I was working with today had EQ and a compressor on it.

It also crashes as soon as I hit the add send button.

A crash should be accompanied by some kind of message from the program or from Windows. There should also be a minidump file created that can be sent to CW support for analysis. Error messages may not mean anything to you, but they still serve a purpose when passed on to someone who can interpret them.

As gswitz noted, it is not normal to crash when adding a send, nor is there any outstanding SONAR bug that causes crashes when adding a send, AFAIK. To be sure, we'd need to know how to duplicate your problem. Perhaps you could post a screenshot showing the track and the bus you intend to route it to?

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

You obviously have a corrupted install if it actually crashes when you click on the send button. Uninstall sonar and reinstall sonar and install the latest updates.
