Sequel to Contemplating

Hi all,
 
I'm working on the sequel to my Contemplating song, I need some input if this needs some more elements in the song structure or not. 
I'm thinking about adding a guitar solo ala Guilmor between the last chorus to en ending chorus, what do you think?
Please bear in mind that this isn't the final production by any means....

    Hmm...I like the mood and basic premise of this.  It does sound pretty cool, but it seems like it's building to something that never comes.  To answer your question, yes, it needs more elements, in my opinion.  It's a cool song idea, absolutely, and feels epic in how it presents itself, just needs to evolve and go somewhere now.  Just my opinion, since you asked.
