Session Drummer -2 Help, I'm lost...

Hey Cakeheads -

I'm finally getting the hang of Sonar Home studio 6, but I'm struggling a little with incorporating Session Drummer 2 tracks into an existing project. I drag the presets from SD2 into the session drummer track in my project, but nothing plays. I hate to ask a stupid question: do I need a primary midi source to hear the percussion track? I'm just lost as to the functionality and can't seem to find doc anywhere that can help. The tutorials I've found are great, but they only take me so far.

I'm I missing an output selection? I just don't know..

Thanks for the reply. Those resources are great, but they don't address my question, unfortunately. I think someone needs to talk to me like I'm 4, I'm serious.

I drag the drum pattern in to a midi track from session drummer, but it won't play back. Do I need to tell it how many measures to play or can I just drag the track to lengthen it? I thought I could. I don't know if this has anything to do with anything. I just don't know what else to do. There's a step I must be missing.

Any guidance would be much appreciated.
