Session Drummer 3 and EZ Drummer

I just picked up EZ Drummer and I love the the available patterns. I also like the flexability that Step Sequencer 2.0 provides for editing and inserting new parts such as drum rolls or cymbal hits.
 
How would I go about using SD3 and the Step Sequencer with EZ Drummers files?
I am using Sonar Producer 8.5.3
