Is there a TL;DR on this topic? I'm gathering SD3 is sucky either on purpose or accident and someone has figured it out and created a solution but had poor form in the way of presentation? 

Sometimes I'm too busy to keep up with all the flare-ups and follow them.

IDK, I used SessionDrummer2/3 for a long time and still will add it to projects when I feel the need. I am surprised this thread bubbled up and would like to have read it in the context of the rest of the related threads. If there were issues with the supplied sfz files, it would be nice to know how the modifications in this thread address them.
