Session Drummer 3 issue

Everytime I hit play, I lose the ability to hear the drum set via its picyure. The track still works but clicking on the picture of a drum does not, until I hit the panic buttom several times. Than I get the sound back on the drum image. however as soon as I hit play. the sounds from the image goes away until i hit the panic button several times 6 to 8 times.
 
Any Ideas?
 
I have X1b Producer (also happend with X1a.)

    Clicking on a drum in the GUI picture does play the sound for me regardless of whether the MIDI sequence is playing or not. (X1b).  Sorry I can't think why this would happen to you. I mention this just to confirm that it ought to work the way you think but unfortunately doesn't in your case.

    try opening up your prefence menu and then closing it right away by clicking okay-not cancel.this resets the engine for midi as well..also check your routing my friend.
