Session Drummer 3

Session Drummer 3 Seems really anemic.
I want a drumset like Mike Portnoy or Neil Peart... Need more toms and more cymbal tonalities (various crash, splash, trash, ping and ding).

Biggest set of toms and cymbals in my collection is in the DFH EZX for EZdrummer. I sure Superior Drummer would add more options.

Yeah, you might have to pay for a program like that.  Have you looked into BFD?  There is an expansion pack entitled Deluxe Collection (http://www.fxpansion.com/...php?page=3&tab=25) that has such options (as does BFD2 with 10, 18 and 32 piece kits).  http://www.fxpansion.com/...hp?page=53&tab=148

If you notice in the mixer view of SD3, you can easily add more toms and/or cymbals to the pad slots.  It's not a Peart size kit, but I'm sure it's enough to fill.  By the way, with a little trickery with velocity levels and compression, you can create the audible illusion of more drums and cymbals in you SD3 kit.  You might want to consider that if you are not interested in ponying up for a full drum program.

    Kind regards,
