Session Drummer 3

Newbie question, how do I get this to where I can write a drum track. Loaded session drummer, didn't hear it until I enabled echo on. want to pull out basic beats and edit later on in PRV, right?  Always did it back then with an FSK track to my midi stuff. Old school I know but trying to learn this. thanks in advance.

You can drag and drop Session Drummer 3 preset pattern grooves into the track view, then edit in PRV . . . is that what you're trying to do ?

here's how to set it up using a triggering devise. you can ignore the triggering, just watch how its set up.

same concept as the old school drum machines.
matter of fact if you still have your drum machine watch the second video I made about using a drum machine to trigger session drummers kit pieces.

once you become king in the PRV though, you will be able to work faster than the pads(and more precise).
I like to work with PRV notes, not drum pane view. notes are a little easier to move around and grab then those little triangles.
