Session Drummer2

I apologize in advancefor my ineptitude, but I need help. I have Sonar 6 Producer and have been attempting to lay down drum tracks using Session Drummer 2 to begin recording my songs. For some reason, after i drag the patterns to the track I created (I use audio tracks, not much of a MIDI guy) when I play back the track, only one pattern will play instead of the sequence of drum patterns I have dragged to the track. What idiotic mistake am I making? Please and Thank you.

Is this question too annoying. Sorry for being ignorant, but can someone at least tell me where to go for the information i need?

Click F1 with Session Drummer2 in focus. That will bring up the help file.
When you insert SD2 ( or most any soft synth), make sure you have the following selected:
    MIDI Source
First Synth Audio Output ( Or All Synth Audio Outputs:Stereo. You can save this for later, when you are more comfortable working with MIDI)
    Synth Property Page.
The patterns must be dragged to the MIDI track, not the audio track.
Click the pad in the SD2 GUI (the Property Page).
Then drag from the note icon to your MIDI track.
To repeat a pattern, hover your cursor over the right edge of the pattern in the MIDI track, then drag it out as far as you need it.
It can be confusing at first, but once you get the hang of it, you can set up your drum track fairly quickly. Play with it some.

Edit: Also be sure to hit the Stop button in the SD2 GUI. Otherwise, it will play the selected pattern alongside your project when you hit Play in Sonar. I suspect this may be what you are hearing.
