Setting up my un-listed Controller in Sonar X3e....????

Hey there, again.
So, I have the good old CME UF5 MIDI Keyboard Controller in my setup. It's an older keyboard, with no driver support for newer versions of Windows, so I can't "USB" it, but it has MIDI Output, which I plug into my Tascam US-144 MkII Interface's MIDI Input.
The Keyboard and basic/standard controllers all work fine, but the additional sliders, knobs, and sequencer-transport buttons don't work. I know I need to set this Controller up in Sonar X3, and I looked into "Cakewalk Generic Surface" as well as the basic "ACT Controller." I saw preset files for many controllers, but nothing for this CME UF5. So, I know, and accept, I'm on my own....
But jeez, man.... I'm no dummy, but trying to get this Controller working in Sonar is a royal, complicated pain!!! Help wasn't a whole lot of help, either...
So, I'm looking for guidance here. What's the easiest way to get the full functionality of this Controller into Sonar X3e?
I do have the Manual for the Controller, but, it isn't a whole lot of help in this department, either. I'm sure there's got to be a place on this site somewhere that outlays and details how to go about getting a Controller working in Sonar.... right??
I'll do some digging around, but any advice or pointers would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Look for ACT as you will have to teach each control what to do. If you follow the link in my signature to my Onedrive, there is a Sonar ACT tutorial document in the Sonar folder. It's fairly comprehensive with screen shots and the works.

    Hey Mike V.!!
Thanks so much - am going through that tutorial right now - looks good and helpful!!
I also went to the Utilities, and found "AZSlow..." for mapping controllers or something to that effect - are you familiar with that, could that possibly help? (I'll check it out...)

    Thanks again!
