What do you have your PAN law set to and why?

    What ever is the default setting.
    I never saw or heard any reason to change it.

    One quick question besides: Which of the panning laws represent the "setting" that was used in Sonar 3 and prior?! I didn't find any statement about this in the manual. Anyone knows?! Thanks!

    I believe the default setting is the law used in S3 - this one:
    0 dB center, sin/cos taper, constant power--this choice causes a 3 dB boost in a signal that's panned hard left or right, and no dip in output level in either channel when the signal is center panned.

    Also, you'll find enough to read about panning laws to keep you up all night if you search the forum on "pan law"
